EVGENY RUMAN

Born in 1979, in Minsk, Belarus.

Immigrated to Israel at age of 11.

Graduated from Film & TV department in Tel-Aviv University. 

During the studies wrote and directed several short films 

which won awards and participated in numerous international

film festivals. 

His debut feature film, Israel/Poland/Germany co-production 

“Igor & the Cranes’ Journey”, premiered at Toronto International

Film Festival, and received awards at film festivals in Chicago,

Haifa, Minsk and others.

In 2015, two new feature films directed by Evgeny are going 

to be released.

"Ruby Strangelove", musical fantasy for all family, English

speaking US production.

"The Man in the Wall", an Israeli low-budget psychological

drama shot only in 6 days, which he also wrote.

Recipient of Excellence Award from the Israeli Ministry of

Culture for contribution to Israeli film in 2013.
